About Dr Eleni

Eleni grew up four streets from here and bought her bread downstairs as a child. She trained in Thessaloniki and then spent eleven years at a large teaching hospital in the north of England, the last four running its clinic for patients who were too anxious to be seen anywhere else.

She came home in 2017, rented the first floor above Rina's bakery, and opened Myrtia with one chair, one nurse and a very large plant. Most of the way we work, the stop signal, the longer first visits, the written plan before anything happens, comes from that clinic in England.

She still does most of the first visits herself. Outside work she swims off the Kalamaria seafront from May to October and complains about the water temperature for the rest of the year.
