Eleni Vardaki
Physiotherapist, co-founder, at Symmetria since 2016
Spent seven seasons as physiotherapist to the national rowing squad, and opened Symmetria so she could see people for longer than ten minutes.
Most people do not need more treatment. They need to understand what is going on, and a plan they believe in.
About Eleni
Eleni trained in Athens and in Bologna, and spent seven seasons travelling with the national rowing squad: regattas, training camps, a lot of cold mornings on lakes. It taught her how much a body can do when the loading is right, and how little you can fix in ten minutes between races.
In 2016 she and Myrto opened Symmetria in two rooms on Archimidous Street, with one rule they still keep: one therapist, forty-five minutes, start to finish. She sees a lot of shoulders, a lot of rowers and paddlers, and anyone who wants to get back to training without guessing.
She still rows on Saturday mornings in Faliro, and comes to run club afterwards, slowly.
