Why every session is forty-five minutes, with one person
When we opened, we made one rule. It costs us money, and we have never been tempted to change it.

When Eleni and I opened Symmetria in 2016, we had both spent years in clinics where a physiotherapist sees three or four people in an hour. You get ten minutes of attention, a heat pack, a machine that buzzes, and a bill.
So we made one rule: every session is forty-five minutes, with one therapist, from start to finish. Nobody is on the next bed. Nobody is left with a machine and a timer.
What the time is for
Most of it goes on the things that actually help: working out what is going on, explaining it, treating what needs treating, and progressing your exercises so they keep being useful. The explaining matters more than people expect. When you know why an exercise helps, you do it.
What it costs
It means we see fewer people in a day, which is why a session costs €50 and not €25. We publish that price on this website, along with everything else we charge, because you should know before you walk in.
It also means that, on average, people need fewer sessions with us. We think that is a fair trade.
