Accessibility is part of the brief
What changed when we tested at 200% zoom from the first sketch instead of the last week.

On the Atlas Clinics project we made one rule: nothing gets shown to the client until it has been tried at 200% zoom and with a screen reader.
It slowed the first two weeks down. It sped up the next ten, because nothing had to be redesigned at the end. The rounded tiles in the final system exist because square ones read as buttons that could not be pressed.
The rule is now studio-wide. Tom reads every page with a screen reader before a client sees it, and nothing goes into a presentation that has not been tried on a phone at twice the text size.
